As expected, was a no go on today's court date.

Our file has been closed until all new paperwork is obtained. No new court date is being assigned until then. And the request for a new court date may not be made for a month or so yet. And once the request is made we shouldn't expect that new court date for 10+ weeks. give it to you straight - best case scenario is a May-ish court date.

I prefer not to do so much math.
This pretty much hurts.
It pretty much breaks our hearts.
Folks, she's sprouting - growing like a weed.
Enjoy an update - for sure we will cling to every joyful word we receive about Koko over the next few months:

“She is looking good. When I came to visit she was out sunbathing with her roommates. As you can see from the photo, she is now sitting on her own. She is doing great, and seems to be doing something new with each week that goes by… such a quick learner. The caregivers say that she is eating well, and growing fast!”--Ryan
Weight: 7.8kg

Love to you all,

I am so sorry and my heart is breaking right along with you! The wait....WHY?!?!?!?!?! It makes no sense. But hang on, and keep your faith in the One who knows the plans He has for prosper you and plans to give you hope and a future.

there is nothing i can say to make it better. just time passing and getting your baby girl home. you are totally allowed to feel broken, angry, hurt, and sad. I would, too. this just sucks. keep in mind that even though you are oceans and continents away from your baby, you have been chosen to be her parents, right now. she is not physically with you, but she is an orphan no more... because your love is powerful and strong, and you are praying for her and loving her and honoring her, every day since you saw her face. She has parents! Rejoice in knowing that you are giving her a family and dignity, even from far away, and that your prayers are effective, and that somewhere in her soul, she feels your love and knows that you are coming.
I'm praying for a miracle for you... that you would be able to go to her far sooner than expected...
I hope you don't feel alone, and know that so many people are with you in this...
